Aaron is an Audio Engineer, Producer, and Musician that has “always had a life long love of all types of music.” Aaron explains that he started off playing drums when he was 10, picked up the guitar when he was 13, and started playing bass when he was in high school. “I worked in a guitar shop in my hometown of Mobile, Alabama when I was in high school. I played in a few bands, but none of them ever got very far… so I went to college for Computer Science, got a job and quit school, and just kept making music as a hobby. I was in the right place at the right time in the late nineties when digital recording technology was getting better and cheaper. Since I wasn’t playing in bands anymore, I was making music on my computer. But I had never thought of making music as a career, it was just a hobby around being a fan of music.”

In 2005, he moved to New Jersey, eager for a change of pace and new opportunities. He attended school for Audio Engineering at Bloomfield College and spent his spare time making as much music as possible. A Minor Crisis was the name of the “one man digital garage band” he recorded under. “It was all instrumental rock stuff. I know I’m no singer, so I just figured I would jam. So it was basically just a really good structured way for me to get the sounds out in my head and get in good practice for the stuff I was learning in school. But for a school project, it sounds pretty good! A few of those early tracks are still some of my favorites.” A Minor Crisis recorded an EP, Various Nefarious Sources in 2007, and a full length, View From An Airplane in 2009.

In 2009 Aaron relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. “New Jersey wasn’t working for me. I had become determined to have a career in the music business, so I knew I had limited choices as far as what cities I could move to. I was familiar with Atlanta, I had friends and family there, and I knew the music business was huge there.” Since then, he has been working steadily as a freelance engineer and producer for a variety of local up and coming artists and is continually refining his studio. Aaron has done work for urban ATL artists such as Niajae, B-Boy Fidget, Redeye Dutch, Magazeen, and Ami Da Truth; and is currently working on the rock band Leidenfrost’s first full length album.
